Vineyard Chic Kitchen Makeovers Owners

Vineyard Chic in the Spotlight At The St. Charles Give. Golf. Gala.

What does Vineyard Chic, a creative design and build kitchen and bath company in Illinois have in common with Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian and Jason Day, the world’s best PGA golfer?

Along the Fox River, in charming downtown Saint Charles, a star-studded gala, silent and live auction was held in the historic Hotel Baker on May 21, 2017 with a concert by Luke Bryan, popular country singer, at Chicago’s treasured Arcada Theater. The celebrity golf outing was held the next day at the legendary Saint Charles country club. Vineyard Chic was proud to be a sponsor for these events. Net proceeds benefited the Michael Phelps Foundation and Jason and Ellie Day’s Brighter Days Foundation.

Bill Coslet and I, as owners of Vineyard Chic, were lucky to attend the gala and the concert. We sponsored the trolley that took partygoers from one to the other event. We tried not to act too starstruck as we walked around, bidding on silent auction items (sadly none were won) and tasting delights like Stracciatella, a delicious vanilla with dark chocolate pieces from All Chocolate Kitchen. This is the tantalizing shop right next to our Showroom in Geneva, Illinois. We also had some delicious appetizers from local restaurants. Some of my favorites were bacon wrapped figs and beef filet sliders from The Finery in Saint Charles and the fantastic charcuterie tray from NEO in Saint Charles.

Our client Miko Kabeshita, who with his wife Tracy have become great friends of ours, also sponsored and attended the events. Miko was thrilled when he learned that his idol, Jason Day, was the celebrity assigned to his foursome. Tracy was seen hobnobbing with some of the celebrity golfers like Carter Oosterhouse, who is one of America’s most recognized lifestyle experts. He has carried many popular television series ranging from Trading Spaces and Red and Hot & Green to Million Dollar Rooms and Celebrity Motor Homes. Most recently, Carter played host to FYI’s Rowhouse Showdown and will be co-hosting ABC’s hit primetime series, The Great Christmas Light Fight. Carter heralds from Traverse City Michigan and has a beautiful winery there that Bill and I visited last summer.

Please enjoy some of the pictures taken at the events and visit us in our new kitchen and bath design showroom at 211 James Street, Geneva, Illinois.
